Currently, 24 employees compose our team: pre-doctoral researchers, engineers, technicians, postdoctoral fellows and permanent staff. We work at Underwater Vision and Robotics Research Centre at the University of Girona (UdG). We are a leader team in the research and development of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles for accurate seafloor mapping and light intervention. With more than 20 years of experience, we offer our research, engineering and field operations experience to companies and institutions.
In the last ten years we have participated in seven European-funded projects on 6th and 7th Framework Programme, 12 National-funded projects (of both basic and applied research) and we have also been involved in technology transfer projects and contracts with companies and institutions worldwide.
The team is part of the Institute of Computer Vision and Robotics (ViCOROB). We are located in Scientific and Technological Park of the UdG.
